What we offer

SKETCH is a studio for young people (16-29), living homeless or on the margins navigating poverty, to make all kinds of art

We offer three 10-week sessions every year along with special summer programs. Our programs are free. You can drop into most programs, and there’s no formal intake process, but some programs do require registration in advance. Checkout our program times -drop by, take a tour, grab a bite during meal times and plug into a workshop.

How we work together

Community Responsibilities

This space is shared with and serves all of our community. As such we invite you to:
  • Collaborate with us to create an environment that is as inclusive, comfortable, respectful and inspiring as possible for all of our diverse and fabulous community members
  • Come prepared and committed to working respectfully with one other around diverse identities, needs, perspectives, opinions and forms of self-expression
  • Work toward accommodating one another’s access needs
  • Respect each other’s right to personal boundaries and consent
  • Use words, actions & artistic expressions that consider how violence has already harmed many of our community members
  • Use strategies for communicating & accessing resources, that reduce harm
  • Not use discriminatory words or actions that are racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, ableist or classist
  • Bring courage and compassion to working creatively with one another
If these Community Responsibilities aren’t being respected, come talk to us! We care deeply about the wellness and healing of our community and want to hear from you!
